This TV news piece was produced as a demo during my internship at CityNews Vancouver.

It focusses on a study from the University of British Columbia which showed a drop in empathy reported by Canadians during the COVID-19 pandemic, and how this lack of empathy was felt by disabled and immunocompromised people in Vancouver.

I pitched, produced, scripted and presented the piece, and co-edited the video.

A version of the story, voiced by a CityNews video journalist was broadcast in the 6pm and 11pm news shows, and posted online, in May 2022.
